Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Part-time | Mid-August through December | ~20 – 25 hours/week | Flexible morning availability preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Seasonal Retail Associate to join our team during the busy fall and holiday season. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and capable of handling both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes tasks. Primary responsibilities will include operating the register, maintaining store cleanliness, supporting event room operations, and assisting with basic clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
  
  
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales accurately
  
  
• Handle cash and reconcile the register at beginning and end of shifts
  
  
• Import and print barcode labels from vendor emails upon request
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail space, including sweeping, dusting and trash removal
  
  
• Clean and reset the event room between rentals or uses
  
  
• Perform occasional bathroom upkeep, such as refilling toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  
  
• Assist in organizing merchandise and store displays
  
  
• Perform basic clerical tasks (e.g., counting inventory, filing, labeling)
  
  
• Support setup and breakdown for seasonal events or displays
  
  
• Follow company policies and maintain a safe, secure environment

Qualifications

• Prior retail, customer service, or clerical experience preferred
  
  
• Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system (training provided)
  
  
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
  
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  
• Flexible morning availability and weekend shifts required
  
  
• Must be at least 18 years old
