What is the Bristol Bazaar?

The Bristol Bazaar is an indoor makers market that is open year-round in downtown Bristol, CT. We support 65+ artisans at any given point in our Las Vegas and Boston themed boutique. We are also home to Yellow King Bristol - a coffee cocktail lounge - and a classroom/event space that is always bursting with something new to try.


Our passion is to help entrepreneurs who are making their products by hand grow their side hustle to be their full time job. The Bristol Bazaar does more than just provide a space for makers to sell their products. We provide networking and learning opportunities as well as space to host events and client meetings.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for entrepreneurs who make their products by hand and are looking to make their side hustle, a full time gig! We don't allow any reselling or multi-level-marketing here at The Bristol Bazaar. We require all products to be made/designed by the vendor who is contracting with us.


The Bristol Bazaar is always looking for something new, fun & funky! We are more than just a place for you to put your products. We're here to help answer questions, make connections and bring you to the next level. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you & help you grow your business!


What We Offer...

Competitive Pricing Compared to Other Local Markets

To have a space at the Bristol Bazaar ranges from $14/day to $31/day. That is about $20 less per day when compared to an open air market and more than $70 less per day than a weekend only indoor flea market.*


*There is a one month minimum for Full Time Vending

Convenience &
More Sales

Makers are not required to be present in order to sell product(s) because of our central register system. The Bristol Bazaar is a place where you can bring inventory and not have to worry about packing it up and moving it out the same day. We are fully staffed and open 6 days a week - 65 hours a week!

Inventory Updates

Makers can come in and update inventory as often as they like! Also know that your display space is your own and won't be designed or rearranged by The Bristol Bazaar team.

Hours of Operation

We are open 6 days a week.

Your products will be out for customers to see almost every day of the week instead of just one or two days at a time.

The current business hours are:

Sunday - 10am - 6pm

Monday - CLOSED

Tuesday - Thurs - 9am - 8pm

Fri - Sat: 9am - 9pm 

Access to Our Think Tank

The Think Tank space is free to book at your convenience. It is a multi-purpose space that can be used for Client Meetings, brainstorming sessions, collaboration meetings and so much more.

Access to Our Makers Speaker Series

Once a month, you are invited to come connect, learn and grow with all makers in The Bristol Bazaar family. Guest speakers and topics will range from small business marketing, accounting, podcasting, and more!

Access to Our Once a Month Networking Events

Meet up and collaborate with the other makers who are selling at The Bristol Bazaar! Chat about potential collabs or tactics you're using to market products and grow your brand.

Commission

There is a 15% or 10% commission structure in place for our full time vendors.


15% - for those who book 1 month at a time

10% - for those who commit to 2+consecutive months in a contract.


This covers the cost for the barcode labels, data entry time, automated sales reports and all necessary software to function in a smooth manner.

Access To The Event Space As a Maker

All of our makers are able to host events in our classroom/event space at no additional cost during their contracted time. There is no commission on ticket sales. It is a tag-team effort to fill seats for classes and events between the maker and The Bristol Bazaar.

Having a 30 Second Ad Spot On The Bristol Bazaar Radio

The Bristol Bazaar offers a FREE 30 second ad over our internal airwaves for all makers. You can record it yourself OR we can do it for you.

Another Option:

Guest Vending

We do offer Guest Vending if you are interested in giving us a try. Below is all of the information about this opportunity:

  • A maker is able to vend in this spot once a month
  • Location:
  • January - September: Right next to our entryway door/in front of the pergola.
  • October - December: The Think Tank. Due to our holiday tree going up and longer lines, we provide our guest vendors the Think Tank space for the same price.
  • The Bristol Bazaar will provide a 5.5 ft table - you are responsible for bringing everything else (decor, chair, pos, cash, signage, etc)
  • You are asked to stay with your product for the entirety of your vending time
  • If you choose to vend for less than the full day, the cost is still the same.
  • Tuesday - Friday: $35/day, Weekend: $65/day
  • If you are going to cancel, we do require a 48 hour notice otherwise we will not be able to refund you

  • Custom Awning - included!
  • Slat wall & slat wall accessories starter kit provided: shelves, bins, hangers & hooks.
Vendor Cart Rental

Half Table

  • Size: 45" x 30"
  • There is a natural divide between 2 Makers sharing a Table Space
  • 1 Wooden Tier is provided
  • We do ask that set ups not be higher than 3 ft off the table


Pit Table Display

End Cap Displays

  • Size: 60" x 30"
  • Table is not shared with another Maker
  • No Tiers are provided
  • We do ask that set ups not be higher than 3 ft off the table


SHELVING DISPLAYS

  • A Vendor can rent one 1ft x 2ft shelf
  • There is a 2 month maximum per contract.
  • They are taken on a first come, first serve basis on move in day.
  • The Bristol Bazaar does not hold spaces.
  • Small Business Insurance is required for a shelf space.
